The promotor is prof. dr. James McAllister. The opposition committee will consist of Wim van den Doel, Sarah de Rijcke, Frans van Lunteren, Martin Lipmann (all Leiden University), and Koen Frenken (Utrecht), Niki Vermeulen (Edinburgh), and Patricia Faasse (VNG).
